Black Friday may still be a few weeks away, but major U.S. retailers have already rolled out deep discounts on flagship smartphones. The early sales include dramatic price cuts on premium devices such as Apple’s iPhone 17, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 6, and Google’s Pixel 10 Pro, with savings that rival what shoppers usually see on Black Friday itself.
According to retail analysts, this year’s early start reflects growing competition among smartphone makers to lock in buyers before the main holiday rush.
Apple’s iPhone 17 is being offered through major carriers at no upfront cost when paired with long-term unlimited plans — a deal that effectively drops the handset’s typical $829 starting price to zero for subscribers.
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 6, usually priced at $1,219, is now available for around $549, representing a 55% discount. Its larger counterpart, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, is seeing reductions of more than $300, bringing prices down to roughly $1,730.
Meanwhile, Google’s Pixel 10 Pro has seen one of the steepest markdowns of the season: from $999 to $499, a 50% price cut that makes it one of the most affordable AI-driven flagship phones this year.
Shoppers not seeking top-tier devices can also find impressive savings. The Motorola Moto G Power 5G (2024) has dropped from $299 to $129, and the Moto G Stylus (2025) is being bundled for free with select prepaid plans.
OnePlus fans can still find the OnePlus 13 at $899, down from its original $999 launch price, and it maintains strong value with flagship-level performance.
Telecom providers are joining the early sale push with notable discounts on wireless plans.
These limited-time deals are expected to last through early November before the Black Friday surge begins.

Early Black Friday savings also extend to phone accessories. Popular charging gear such as the Anker MagGo Wireless Charging Station has dropped from $110 to $59, and Lisen’s 4-in-1 Retractable Car Charger now sells for $16, down from $27. Power banks and MagSafe stands from brands like Inui and Mophie are also seeing reductions between 15% and 40%.
Analysts predict that early Black Friday pricing could drive record smartphone sales in 2025, especially as premium devices like the iPhone 17 and Galaxy Z series reach a wider audience through financing and trade-in offers.
Consumers, however, are advised to monitor prices closely — while these early discounts are substantial, some retailers may drop prices further as Black Friday officially arrives.
