About Hitechreports
Hitechreports is a technology news desk built around one question: what is actually happening in tech right now, and what does it mean for the people who use it? Not what a press release wants covered, not what was big last week. What is moving.
We watch the wires, the specialist tech press, company announcements and the places the conversation really happens — Reddit threads, YouTube reviews, developer forums. When a story reaches enough of them at once, we write it up.
What we cover
Phones and the launches, leaks and software updates around them. Laptops, PCs, chips and graphics cards. AI — the models, the assistants and the companies building them. Apps, platforms and security fixes. Gaming hardware, wearables, audio and the rest of the gadgets. The business and policy decisions that shape all of it. And deals worth knowing about, with the price at the time of writing.
What we do not do
We do not run a test lab, and we do not pretend to. When we write about a new device, performance, battery life and camera results come from the outlets that tested it, and we name and link them. Our Reviews section is review roundups: what the reviews are saying, summarised and credited — not scores we made up.
We do not track prices in real time either. A deal story gives the price and retailer as they were when it was written; prices move, so check before you buy. Where a source linked to a product on Amazon, we link to it too, and as an Amazon Associate Hitechreports earns from qualifying purchases. Those links are marked, and they never decide what we cover: the desk writes about a product because sources reported on it, and the link is added afterwards.
How our stories are written
Every story on this site is written by the Hitechreports desk from reporting that we credit and link on the article. We use automated tools in that process, and the bylines are desk signatures rather than people — our editorial policy explains exactly how that works, how we source, and what we do when we get something wrong.
Get in touch
Tips, corrections and complaints all go to the same place: submit a tip. If we have a fact wrong, tell us and we will fix it and say that we did.
Follow the feed
Everything we publish goes out over RSS, and each section has its own feed if you only want one slice of it.
