Know something we should? Tell the desk.
A launch date, a leaked spec, a software change nobody has noticed, a price drop worth sharing — or a mistake in one of our stories. Every message is stored and read, and corrections are the fastest queue we run.
What happens to your message
- 1It is stored firstWritten to the desk's database before anything else, so nothing is lost if a notification fails.
- 2It is readCorrections and takedown notices first, then tips and everything else.
- 3Tips are checkedNothing is published on a single unverified tip. We look for a second source or the company's own confirmation.

How we verify
From tip to story
The same rules as everything else on the site — the editorial policy has the detail.
A second source
A tip on its own is a lead, not a story. We look for another outlet, a public filing, a listing or the company's own word before anything is published.
Rumour is labelled as rumour
Unannounced products are written up as reported or leaked, with who is saying it. Specs and prices are facts only once confirmed.
Credit where it is due
If your tip leads to a story and you want credit, say so and we will give it. If you do not, we will not.
Common questions
Will you publish my name or email?
No. Your email is used to reply to you and nothing else, and your name only appears in a story if you ask for credit.
Can I send files?
Not through this form. Upload a screenshot or document somewhere you control and send the link — that also lets you take it down later.
Do you pay for tips?
No. We do not pay for tips or leaks, and coverage cannot be bought.
How quickly will I hear back?
Corrections and takedown notices get a reply. Tips do not always — but every one is read, and if we need more we will write to you.
