Adultery, the new six-part drama from BAFTA winner Danny Brocklehurst, starts on ITV1 at 9pm BST on Sunday, October 25. Episode two follows at the same time the next night, Monday, October 26, with the remaining four episodes airing in Sunday-Monday pairs over the following two weeks.
The series stars Dominic Cooper and Romola Garai as Tom and Beth, two parents who start an affair after their children begin dating. The production reportedly shot several alternate endings, so the finale isn't locked until it actually airs.
All six episodes are also going up as a box set on ITVX from October 25, for anyone who'd rather binge than wait out the weekly schedule.

No broadcaster in the US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand has picked up Adultery so far. It's an ITV production built for the UK market, and there's no sign yet of an international deal or streaming pickup elsewhere.
Free options
ITV1 is a free-to-air channel in the UK, and ITVX, the broadcaster's streaming app, doesn't charge for Adultery either. You just need to register an account on the ITVX website or through its iOS or Android app. Watching does require a valid UK TV Licence, since that covers on-demand viewing as well as live broadcast.
There's no paid tier or additional subscription needed to watch any of the six episodes, whether live on ITV1 or streamed afterward through ITVX's catch-up library.
What to expect
Adultery leans into exactly the kind of messy, slow-burn betrayal its title promises. Tom and Beth's affair unfolds against the backdrop of their kids' own relationship, which keeps raising the stakes on how long the secret can hold. Cooper, known for Mamma Mia, and Garai, known for Atonement, carry a cast built around that central deception.
Brocklehurst's track record with layered domestic drama is part of the draw here, and the decision to film multiple possible endings suggests ITV wants the ambiguity to last until broadcast rather than leak out early.
For now, the schedule runs through November 9, when the final two episodes close out the run on ITV1 and ITVX. Anyone outside the UK will need to wait and see whether a wider release gets announced once the UK run wraps.
