Retailers opened discounts on high-end robot vacuum and mop hybrids for Amazon's October Prime Big Deal Days. The price drops spread beyond Amazon to Best Buy and direct manufacturer storefronts, targeting automated cleaning gear fitted with roller mops, obstacle detection and compact self-draining docks.
Roborock saw cuts across multiple tiers of its cleaning line. The Curv 2 Flow, which serves as the brand's first roller-mop vacuum, packs 20,000Pa suction alongside a retractable mop cover and AI-assisted obstacle avoidance in a reduced frame. For homes with thick rugs and difficult transitions, the company's slim Saros 20 climbs taller door thresholds and hits 36,000Pa suction, relying on spinning mop pads to scrub hard surfaces while still clearing lower furniture.
Low Clearances and Roller Mops
Low chassis height remains a key focus for Dreame in the current discount cycle. The Dreame X60 Ultra measures 3.13 inches high to slip under dressers and low sofas, using a dual AI-assisted camera setup to chart paths around stray objects. For longer maintenance cycles, the brand's cheaper L40s Ultra carries onboard dust storage designed for up to 100 days between bin empties, paired with climbing wheels and automated mop-pad washing.
