Amazon kicked off its Great Indian Festival 2026 sale on October 8, putting up price cuts across consumer electronics and rolling out early checkout incentives for Indian shoppers.
Buyers paying with State Bank of India credit cards, debit cards, or EMI transactions get a 10 percent instant discount on eligible goods. Amazon Prime subscribers qualify for up to 10 percent in extra promotional value across the storefront. The retailer is also backing the festive campaign with trade-in rebates reaching up to Rs 25,000 and zero-interest EMI financing running across tenures up to 18 months.
Smartphone Reductions
High-end handsets took center stage when Digit reported sale figures late Wednesday. Samsung's flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra was listed at Rs 99,999 on Amazon India on October 7. The device carries a 6.9-inch display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging support, and a quad-rear array anchored by a 200-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 12-megapixel front-facing camera.
Apple hardware saw price relief as well. The 128GB version of the iPhone 16 was listed at Rs 86,900 on Amazon when Digit checked the catalog on Wednesday evening, before card rebates factor into final tallies.
In the premium midrange bracket, OnePlus saw its Nord 6 marked down. Digit reported that the variant packed with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage was listed at Rs 47,368 on Amazon during early promotional activity.
Gaming Laptop Pricing
PC players looking to upgrade portable hardware face a wide spread of configurations, though Digit noted several figures were standard catalogue prices ahead of festive adjustments.
The most affordable entry among the highlighted gaming machines was an HP Victus configuration listed at Rs 1,08,990 when reported on October 7. That model pairs an Intel Core i5-14450HX processor with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics, 24GB of system memory, a 15.6-inch 144Hz screen, and bundled Office 2024 software. A twin Victus configuration sat Rs 1,000 higher at Rs 1,09,990.
Lenovo's competing LOQ laptop was listed at Rs 1,24,500. It runs on an older Intel Core i5-13450HX silicon pairing with an RTX 3050 GPU, matching the Victus with a 15.6-inch 144Hz panel while adding three months of Xbox Game Pass alongside Office Home 2024.
Shoppers willing to spend more for newer graphics silicon were pointed toward the Asus TUF 16, which was listed at Rs 1,59,990. The Asus chassis incorporates a 16-inch panel, an Intel Core i5-14450HX processor, upgradeable RAM slots, and Nvidia's newer GeForce RTX 5050 chip. At the top of the stack, HP's Omen laptop targets higher budgets with an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor, an RTX 5060 GPU, a 16-inch 2K display, and 1TB of solid-state storage.
The broader festive sale runs across the coming days, with final checkout values fluctuating as card discounts and inventory shifts take hold.
