Budget hardware took center stage as Amazon's October sales event got underway, pulling compact cameras, chargers, and audio gear well below typical retail pricing. Several accessories from established device makers dropped below the $50 threshold on Wednesday morning.
Smart security cameras led the lowest price tiers when Tom's Guide reported the listing data at 11:00 UTC on October 7. The Blink Mini 2K+ was listed at $12, bringing indoor and outdoor weather resistance, color night vision, and person detection down to entry-level pricing. For homeowners tracking entryways, the Blink Battery Doorbell 2K+, which features 2K resolution and up to 22 months of battery endurance, was marked down by 56 percent. Amazon's Ring lineup saw reductions as well, with the Ring Indoor Cam Plus listed at $29 alongside discounted listings for the updated Ring Video Doorbell sporting Retinal 2K video and 6x zoom.
Charging and Audio Gear
Portable power and wired accessories occupied much of the sub-$50 space. EcoFlow's EF-MB-005 Rapid Mag Power Bank packed a 10,000mAh cell with 15W Qi2 wireless output for MagSafe hardware and 36W wired output into the discount bracket. Anker's Nano 45W wall plug also hit the sale catalog, offering a rotatable 180-degree display that measures live output rates in a chassis smaller than conventional 30W bricks. A generic 65W three-port travel adapter joined the list for charging small laptops, tablets, and phones simultaneously.
