A foldable phone breaks most of the rules a case has to follow, and ESR is betting owners of Apple's iPhone Duo will pay for accessories built around that reality rather than generic covers stretched to fit.

The company has introduced two cases and two chargers aimed specifically at the Duo, Apple's first foldable iPhone. Both cases fold around a protected hinge and ship with a stand built into the shell, rather than sold as a separate accessory.

Two cases, two audiences

The Classic Hybrid Magnetic Case with Flex Stand is the rugged option. Its stand rotates a full 180 degrees and is built from zinc alloy, with ESR rating the hinge mechanism for 3,000 open-and-close cycles. The shell combines a polycarbonate and acrylic back with a TPU frame, reinforced hinge coverage, raised edges and what ESR calls Air Guard corners for drop protection. Despite the armor, ESR says the case adds only 1.5mm to the phone's back, still supports 25W Qi2 wireless charging, and holds MagSafe accessories with 1,500 grams of magnetic force.

The Atelier Magnetic Case with Flex Stand goes for a dressier look, with a silicone leather exterior, an oleophobic coating meant to resist stains, and a microfiber lining against the phone. It comes in Black, Light Gray, Deep Burgundy and Misty Blue. It carries the same 180-degree folding stand, works whether the Duo is open or closed, and raises the edges 2.3mm around the screen and 1.6mm around the camera bar. Its magnetic hold is rated at 1,400 grams, slightly below the Classic Hybrid.

Neither case is priced yet in ESR's announcement, and the company has not said when either will ship beyond listing them alongside the rest of the lineup on its own site and on Amazon.

Chargers built for the road

Alongside the cases, ESR is shipping two retractable chargers under its Xtend name. The 45W version delivers up to 60W through USB-PD 3.2's Adjustable Voltage Supply spec, with a retractable cable that extends to 3.1 feet and is rated for 20,000 pulls. ESR says it can get an iPhone 18 Pro to half charge in roughly 15 minutes, and a second USB-C port lets it charge a second device at the same time. The charger carries TÜV safety certification.

The 100W Xtend car charger scales that idea up for a vehicle, with two retractable cables plus an extra port, enough to charge three devices from one socket. ESR says it can bring an iPhone 18 Pro Max to 50% in about 15 minutes, and claims the unit runs 15 degrees Celsius cooler than typical car chargers while charging.

None of the four products has a confirmed US or Indian retail price attached to this launch, and ESR has not given a firm on-sale date beyond pointing buyers to its website and Amazon listings. Whether a foldable phone needs an entire sub-category of accessories built just for it is still an open question for most buyers, but ESR is clearly wagering the answer is yes.
