Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 gets October 2026 security update — 62 vulnerabilities patched, rolling out first in South Korea. Firmware version L715NKOU1AZJ5, 260.66MB. Not yet available in the US or India. No release date given for either market.

This is the second update for the device, the first delivered the August 2026 patch. The September 2026 patch was skipped. Samsung has already detailed the November 2026 patch, though it hasn’t shipped yet. Users in supported regions can check for the update via Galaxy Wearable app > Watch Settings > Watch software update > Check for updates.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 launched globally in May 2026. It remains unclear whether the missing September patch will be backfilled or omitted entirely. Rollout to other markets, including the US and India, is expected ‘over the next few days’, per SamMobile.
