Gemini is now inside Chrome for Android in India — free for all users. The AI can summarise pages, answer questions about what’s on screen, and connect with Calendar or Keep without tab-hopping. That part requires no subscription. But the new auto-browse feature, where Gemini navigates websites, fills forms, books parking, or adds grocery items to cart. Is locked behind Google AI Pro ($19.99/month) and AI Ultra ($29.99/month) plans. It’s live in India as of Tuesday morning. No Indian pricing for the subscriptions is given in the report. Only the US dollar figures are cited. The feature runs in a separate tab, shows its plan before acting, and asks for confirmation before payments or sensitive steps. Users can take over mid-task. Auto-browse is capped: 20 tasks per day for AI Pro, 200 for AI Ultra. Google calls it experimental and says users bear responsibility for outcomes.
