Kinare Kinare, the Hindi-dubbed version of the 2026 Telugu romantic comedy-drama Godari Gattupaina, is streaming now on JioHotstar in India. The original Telugu cut, along with Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam dubs plus the same Hindi version, is available separately on Amazon Prime Video in India.
The film follows Raju, an auto driver played by Sumanth Prabhas, who falls for Maya, a college student played by Nidhi Pradeep. Maya's father, played by veteran actor Jagapathi Babu, stands in the way, insisting on tradition over his daughter's choice. It's the directorial debut of Subhash Chandra, who previously worked on short films, and it marks a comeback for actress Laila in a supporting role alongside comedians Sudarshan and Rajkumar Kasireddy. Godari Gattupaina had its theatrical release in May 2026, with the Godavari river setting that gives the original title its name running through much of the story.
Where to watch
Country | Channel or service | Free or paid
India | JioHotstar (Hindi dub, Kinare Kinare) | Paid
India | Amazon Prime Video (Telugu original, plus Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi dubs) | Paid
Neither platform is listed as carrying the film outside India. JioHotstar and Prime Video both operate in markets like the US, the UK and Canada, but the film itself isn't on their libraries there, according to TechRadar's reporting.
No free option
There's no ad-supported or free tier that unlocks Kinare Kinare on JioHotstar. The platform's cheapest ad-supported Mobile plan runs Rs 149 a quarter or Rs 499 a year, with a Super plan at Rs 149 a month or Rs 1,099 a year, and an ad-free Premium tier at Rs 299 a month or Rs 1,499 a year. Hotstar's catalogue also covers cricket, the Premier League, the NFL, MLB and reality shows like Bigg Boss for subscribers. Prime Video requires its own separate membership and doesn't fold into a Hotstar plan.
What to expect
The pitch here is a small-town love story stretched against the backdrop of the West Godavari region, with Raju needing to win over both Maya and her protective father. It leans on familiar beats of a rural romance complicated by family pride, though the setting and the cast, particularly Jagapathi Babu as the disapproving father, are doing a lot of the work to distinguish it from similar films in the genre.
For now, the Hindi dub stays an India-only release on JioHotstar, and there's no word from either platform on a wider international rollout. Anyone outside India will need to wait for that to change, since the film currently isn't licensed to stream on either service's international libraries.
