Paramount+ has a new unscripted series to pad out its Sunday lineup. A Course Called Ireland, a six-part documentary based on Tom Coyne's 2009 golf and travel memoir, went live on the service on October 25, according to Tom's Guide's weekly streaming roundup.
The series follows Coyne and Bill Murray, a well-known golf obsessive off-screen as well as on, as they work their way through some of Ireland's most storied courses. Chris O'Dowd, Joanne McNally and Jason Kelce join the trip at various points, and the show leans unscripted rather than staged, mixing scenery with local color along the way.
It's one of several titles Tom's Guide flagged as new to stream this weekend, in a guide that also covers Apple TV, Peacock and the horror-focused service Shudder, plus a handful of live sports fixtures airing Sunday.
Also part of the roundup is a dramatized retelling of a real diving accident from 2012, when a crew repairing a gas line more than 300 feet below the North Sea nearly lost one of its divers after a storm knocked the support ship off position. Woody Harrelson, Simu Liu and Finn Cole star as the three-man dive team, and the film comes from director Alex Parkinson, who first told the same story in a 2019 documentary before turning it into a scripted feature.
Neither Tom's Guide nor the material it published specifies which service is carrying that film, so treat it as one of the weekend's new arrivals rather than a confirmed Apple TV or Paramount+ exclusive until a platform is attached to it.
What's notable here isn't any single title. It's how crowded the Sunday-night streaming calendar has become across Apple TV, Paramount+, Peacock, Max and the rest, with outlets now running near-daily guides just to keep track of what landed and where. For anyone trying to use a Paramount+ login or dig through the Apple TV app on a given night, that kind of running list has become as useful as the shows themselves.
Tom's Guide says it will keep publishing a version of this roundup through the week, covering new arrivals across the major services as well as live sports and seasonal horror picks on Shudder. Expect Monday's list to bring another batch of additions, with no fixed schedule for when any particular platform drops its next big title.
