Google's Pixel Watch 5 is getting two separate price cuts this week, and the better of the two comes from an open-box listing rather than a new unit.
Amazon is selling the 41mm Pixel Watch 5 LTE in Satin Pyrite with an Olive band for $399.99 shipped, according to deal-tracking site 9to5Toys. That's $100 off the watch's regular $500 price and, per the outlet, the lowest price it has tracked on Amazon for this configuration. The watch briefly fell to $420 during Amazon's fall Prime Day event earlier this month, so the current listing undercuts that by another $20.
Separately, Best Buy has a 41mm Pixel Watch 5 LTE in Polished Silver with a Fog band listed in "excellent" open-box condition for $349.99 shipped. That's $150 off the same $500 regular price, making it the cheaper of the two deals by $50, though buyers are getting a returned or inspected unit rather than one sealed in box. 9to5Toys notes the new-condition version of that same Polished Silver model is still selling for the full $500 at Amazon, where it has never dropped below the $420 Prime Day price.
Both deals are worth moving on quickly if you want one. 9to5Toys says the Amazon discount on the Satin Pyrite model showed up briefly in mid-September too, and that listing lasted roughly an hour before vanishing. There's no guarantee this one sticks around longer.
The Pixel Watch 5 is Google's current flagship wearable, running Wear OS and built around the same round aluminum case design the line has used since the Pixel Watch 4. LTE models like the ones discounted here let the watch place calls and pull data over a cellular connection without a phone nearby, which is typically why they carry a premium over Wi-Fi-only versions.
Neither deal is tied to a stated end date, and retailer pricing on wearables tends to move without much warning around this point in the year, with Black Friday sales still weeks off. Shoppers comparing the two should weigh the $50 gap against the open-box condition at Best Buy versus the sealed, new-in-box unit at Amazon. For now, both put the Pixel Watch 5 LTE further below its $500 list price than it has been outside of Prime Day promotions, and that alone makes this week a reasonable moment to check current listings before either offer resets.
