Pokemon Pokopia, the life-sim spinoff built around Ditto and a cast of world-building Pokemon, is down to $63 for the digital download on Amazon, a price CNET Deals calls the lowest it's tracked for the Nintendo Switch 2 title. That's a $7 cut off the regular $69 price, and the discount shows up automatically in the cart rather than through a code.
The deal covers the digital version only. Anyone wanting a physical cartridge is still paying the standard $69, plus shipping unless they're on Prime. It's also strictly a US offer, tied to Amazon's American storefront, and the purchase is nonrefundable once it lands in your library.
What the game actually is matters here, since it's not another Pokemon battler. Pokopia leans on Ditto, who shape-shifts and picks up abilities as you progress, to drive a routine of farming, crafting and decorating that CNET's Scott Stein compared directly to Animal Crossing. You grow crops, dig up odd items like fossil remnants, and use Pokemon moves such as Bulbasaur's Leafage to reshape the land around you. Multiplayer is part of the pitch too: you can invite other players into your world online, turning a solo save file into a shared one.
