The Pride of Britain Awards 2026 airs Thursday, October 22, starting at 8pm BST and running through to 10:05pm BST, according to ITV's broadcast schedule.

The ceremony is being staged at London's Grosvenor House Hotel and hosted by Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo, who hand out awards to what the show calls the country's most inspiring people, among them fundraisers, lifesavers and people who've transformed their own communities over the past year.

Where to watch

Country | Channel or service | Free or paid --- | --- | --- United Kingdom | ITV1 and ITVX | Free (TV Licence required)

No broadcaster or streaming platform outside the UK is carrying the ceremony, so viewers in the US, Canada or Australia currently have no licensed way to watch it live.

Free options

In the UK, both routes are free. ITV1 covers it on linear television, and ITVX streams it on the web and through its iOS and Android apps once you've registered an account. The catch is the TV Licence: ITV says a valid licence is required to watch its content, including on ITVX, since that counts as consuming its digital output.

There's no indication from ITV of a delayed international release or a clip package for markets outside Britain, so anyone abroad hoping to catch it will have to wait and see whether ITVX makes it available later.

What to expect

Beyond Vorderman and Banjo, the guest list includes King Charles, Jude Bellingham, Davina McCall and Alan Carr, with musical performances lined up from the band Blue, among others. The show's focus, as in past years, stays on ordinary people: carers, community organizers, young people who've shown courage, and others nominated for the kind of everyday acts that don't usually make headlines.

The ceremony runs just over two hours, wrapping at 10:05pm BST. ITVX is expected to carry the broadcast on-demand afterward for UK account holders who miss the live airing, though ITV hasn't detailed how long the replay will stay up or whether a shorter highlights cut will follow.
