Richard Hammond's Workshop season 6 started airing in the UK on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, with new episodes also landing on linear TV a day after they hit streaming. There's no specific broadcast time attached to the rollout, just the weekly release schedule that carries the show through December.
The former Top Gear host is back with eight episodes this time around, working through restoration projects that range from his own E-type Jaguar to a Shelby Mustang bound for a museum in Denmark. The season opens with a trip to a car show in Paris that sends Hammond chasing the Jaguar project, while his team, known on the show as the Cogs, takes on a rare ceremonial Land Rover.
Where to watch
Country | Channel or service | Free or paid --- | --- | --- UK | Discovery+ (also bundled through Sky TV packages) and Quest | Discovery+ is paid, from £3.99 a month. Quest is free-to-air US | No release date announced. Earlier seasons stream on Prime Video and Tubi | Tubi is free. Prime Video is paid Canada | No release date or streaming plan announced | Not applicable Australia | No release date or streaming plan announced | Not applicable
Discovery+ in the UK costs £3.99 a month on its own or comes bundled through Sky TV subscriptions. Anyone who'd rather watch on a traditional television can catch the show on Quest, the free-to-air channel that carries it alongside the streaming release.
Outside the UK, there's nothing official yet. Discovery+ isn't carrying season 6 in the US, and neither a broadcaster nor a streaming date has surfaced for Canada or Australia either. Earlier seasons of the show have turned up on Prime Video and on Tubi in the US, so those libraries are worth checking if season 6 eventually lands there.
Free options
Quest is the only free way to watch new episodes right now, and that's limited to UK viewers with access to the channel. In the US, Tubi has carried past seasons for free, though there's no confirmation yet that season 6 will follow the same path once, or if, it's picked up there.
What to expect
The season runs eight episodes long. Episode 1, which aired October 27, follows Hammond to a Paris car show that pushes him toward restoring his E-type Jaguar, while the Cogs tackle a rare ceremonial Land Rover. Episode 2, due November 3, has the team painting a Shelby Mustang headed for a Danish museum, plus a Silverstone track outing with Hammond's longtime friend Les.
Beyond those two, expect more of the garage-to-track format the show has built its audience on, with further restoration builds and at least one more Hammond mishap on track promised before the season wraps in December. Viewers outside the UK will want to keep an eye on Prime Video and Tubi listings for any sign that those earlier seasons get company.
