Amazon marked down the Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus to $774.49 on Wednesday morning, shaving $425 off the handset's standard $1,199.99 price tag. The promotion, reported by Android Authority during Amazon's Prime Day event, requires an active Prime membership to access.
That represents a 36 percent reduction from its regular retail cost. For buyers eyeing a larger Android screen without crossing the thousand-dollar threshold, the discount shifts Samsung's middle child into much more manageable territory.
Hardware and Specifications
The Galaxy S26 Plus occupies the middle ground in Samsung's lineup, slotted directly between the standard base model and the S26 Ultra. It carries a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel that pushes a 120Hz refresh rate. Despite the roomy footprint, Samsung managed to keep the chassis weight around 190 grams.
Under the glass, the phone runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 12GB of RAM. Storage options typically land at 256GB or 512GB, providing room for offline media and heavier applications. On the software side, the device ships with Android 16 skinned with Samsung's One UI 8.5, bringing along Samsung's package of Galaxy AI software features.
Power comes from a 4,900mAh internal cell that supports up to 45W wired charging, which remains unchanged from recent premium entries in the family.
Triple Cameras and Pricing Context
Around the back, the camera array keeps a triple-lens arrangement. Samsung fitted a 50-megapixel primary sensor, flanked by a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens offering 3x optical reach. Selfies rely on a 12-megapixel front-facing sensor housed in the display cutout.
At its full $1,199.99 sticker, the Plus often struggles against the Ultra, which brings an integrated stylus and more elaborate zoom hardware for just a bit more cash. At roughly $774, the calculation shifts completely. The handset sits below standard flagship prices while retaining the processor, memory configuration, and display resolution of Samsung's top bracket.
The reduced price applies strictly to subscribers on Amazon in the United States, though shoppers can link a standard 30-day trial to claim the listing. Amazon has not published an exact expiration time for the discount window.
