Mouse: P.I. For Hire is $25 on Amazon for Switch 2 and PS5 — its lowest price ever tracked, according to 9to5Toys. The deal went live Saturday and remains active as of 13:17 UTC on October 19, 2026. No expiration date is cited. The game is not a Switch 2 exclusive, it’s available on both platforms at the same discounted price. It is not bundled with hardware, and no Switch 2 Pro Controller or Zelda Edition bundle is mentioned in the report. There is no indication this is a regional offer: 9to5Toys describes it as an Amazon-wide all-time low, but does not specify US-only or global availability. Readers searching 'Switch 2 price' or 'Switch 2 controller' will not find hardware deals here. This is strictly a $25 software discount on a retro-styled detective adventure. The title has no relation to Nintendo’s upcoming Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, though that title is also seeing pre-order discounts on Amazon this week. Mouse: P.I. For Hire launched earlier in 2026. This is a price drop, not a launch. The game features black-and-white rubber-hose animation reminiscent of 1930s cartoons, a stylistic choice, not a technical limitation. It is unrelated to the Switch Sports Resort pre-order discount also highlighted in the same 9to5Toys roundup, which goes live Thursday. No other retailers are named. No coupon code is required. The $25 price appears as the listed sale price on Amazon.
