Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max tops AnTuTu’s Android tablet rankings with Xring O3 chip — no Snapdragon in sight. It scored highest among all Android tablets tested in September, beating the iQOO Pad Ultra despite that device packing Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and active cooling. The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max is a 13.3-inch tablet running on Xiaomi’s self-developed Xring O3 processor, the same silicon that powers the Xiaomi 18 Fold, which currently leads AnTuTu’s flagship smartphone list. Both devices also use LPDDR6 RAM in their top-tier 16 GB/1 TB configuration, a detail Notebookcheck notes likely contributed to the performance gap over the iQOO Pad Ultra’s LPDDR5X Ultra memory. The rest of the top 10? All Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 tablets. From Oppo, Lenovo, Vivo and Honor. No MediaTek chipsets appear, though Notebookcheck adds that’s less a verdict on performance and more a reflection of current market availability. No pricing or launch date is disclosed in the report. Xiaomi has not announced the Pad 9 Pro Max publicly, and the AnTuTu listing remains the only confirmed signal of its existence. The Xiaomi Pad 8 remains available in the US for $379.50.
