Xiaomi's Redmi G25 2027 Monitor Brings 300Hz To China At $120

The 24.5-inch Fast IPS panel pairs a native 300Hz refresh rate with FreeSync Premium and HDR 400 certification, undercutting most monitors that chase triple-digit refresh rates.

Xiaomi has put a 300Hz gaming monitor on shelves in China for 799 yuan, or roughly $120, a price that puts a genuinely fast panel within reach of buyers who'd normally have to spend far more for triple-digit refresh rates.

The Redmi G25 2027 is a 24.5-inch Fast IPS display running at Full HD, 1920 x 1080, in the standard 16:9 shape. The headline number is that native 300Hz refresh rate, paired with a 1ms gray-to-gray response time meant to keep fast-moving scenes from smearing. Xiaomi has added AMD FreeSync Premium for tear-free gaming and a Dynamic Overdrive mode that adjusts pixel response speed on the fly depending on the frame rate you're pushing.

There's a reasonable spec sheet behind the refresh-rate pitch, too. The panel carries VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, hits 400 nits of typical brightness, and claims a 1000:1 contrast ratio with 8-bit color. Color coverage is listed at 100% sRGB and 93% DCI-P3, which is solid for the price bracket. Xiaomi also says the panel has TÜV Rheinland certification for hardware-level low blue light, claiming up to a 50% cut in blue light emission without throwing off color accuracy, according to the company.

On the software side, Xiaomi has bundled the gaming extras buyers expect at this point: customizable crosshairs with dynamic color shifts, a night vision mode for picking out detail in dark scenes, and a dark enhancement setting that lifts shadow detail without blowing out highlights elsewhere in the frame.

Ports and design are where the monitor shows its budget roots, though not in a way that should bother most buyers. You get two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and an audio jack. The catch: HDMI 2.0 tops out at 240Hz at 1080p, so hitting the full 300Hz requires a DisplayPort cable. The stand only tilts, from -5 to +15 degrees, with no swivel or height adjustment built in, but the back carries a standard 75 x 75mm VESA mount for anyone who wants to bolt on a proper monitor arm.

The Redmi G25 2027 is currently listed for sale on JD.com in China. Xiaomi hasn't said anything about bringing it to the US or Indian markets, and there's no indication yet that it will.

It lands alongside a couple of other budget gaming monitors that have shown up recently. Xiaomi's own Redmi G27Q 2026 offers a larger 27-inch 2K screen at a 240Hz refresh rate, while Lenovo's Legion 27Q-20 goes even further on paper with a 2K panel running at 320Hz, also with a 1ms response time. Between the three, buyers chasing the highest refresh number at the lowest price now have more than one option to weigh, even if none of them have official pricing or release plans outside China for now.
