Countertop gardening usually costs closer to three figures, but Amazon has knocked the AeroGarden Harvest Lite down to $59.29 with free shipping. When 9to5Toys reported the listing on Friday afternoon, the soil-free planter was selling at its cheapest price point of 2026.

Throughout the year, the unit has moved between $80 and $95 on the retailer's digital shelves. Amazon trimmed it to $72 during its recent Prime Day promotion, but the current cut takes another $13 off that mark. That works out to roughly $36 below the top end of its typical pricing spread.

Hydroponic setups like the Harvest Lite bypass dirt entirely, relying on liquid nutrients and an internal reservoir to feed roots. The hardware holds up to six individual seed pods simultaneously, leaving room for plants to grow up to 12 inches high beneath its overhead hood. While owners often use it for fresh kitchen greens like basil, mint, and cilantro, the pods support other small edible plants as well.

Maintenance is mostly automated. A built-in sensor panel reminds you whenever water levels run low or plant food needs refreshing, taking the guesswork out of feeding schedules. The seed pod kits themselves do not come bundled in the box, meaning you need to pick up AeroGarden's proprietary pre-seeded pods separately before getting a harvest started.

For apartment dwellers or cooks without yard space, indoor pods remove the usual mess of potting mix and drainage saucers. At nearly $60, the entry point sits comfortably below AeroGarden's standard pricing floor, though ongoing costs still include buying nutrient bottles and replacement seed kits once stems mature and finish their cycle.

Amazon has not set an expiration date for the $59.29 tag, and unit supplies can shift without notice as autumn sales wind down.
