Air India’s mobile app is live on the iPhone Duo with split-view and dual-pane layouts — available from day one of the device’s launch, the airline confirmed. No beta, no delay: users opening the app on the new foldable see responsive interfaces across both outer and inner displays, in portrait and landscape, without waiting for a later update.
The optimisation covers Home, Flight Booking, My Trips, Check-in, Flight Status, and Loyalty Profile, all rebuilt to use the wider real estate meaningfully, not just stretched. In Flight Booking, for example, users can compare flight options side by side. In My Trips, multiple journey cards appear simultaneously, with actions like ‘Check in’ or ‘View boarding pass’ placed adjacent to each card.
The Loyalty Profile section now shows My Activities, Vouchers, What’s New, and Earn with Partners in a single scroll-free view, not stacked, but spatially distributed. Air India didn’t disclose a version number or rollout timing beyond ‘day one’, nor did it specify whether the update requires iOS 19.3 or later.
