Black Friday is still weeks away, but Apple's discount season has already started. 9to5Toys reported Friday that AirTag 2 has returned to an all-time low of $17.50 apiece, one of several early markdowns the site rounded up across Apple's lineup.
The AirTag 2 price is the standout because it is a hard number tied to a device most people already know they want more than one of. The rest of the deals 9to5Toys listed are discounts off whatever each item normally costs rather than flat sale prices, so shoppers will need to check the listings themselves for the final total.
Audio and wearables
AirPods Pro 3 are listed at $50 off, according to the report. Apple Watch Ultra 4 is down by nearly $100. Neither figure comes with the underlying list price in 9to5Toys' writeup, so the actual checkout cost will depend on which band or case size is in the cart.
Macs get pre-order and in-stock cuts
On the computer side, the M6 Mac mini is discounted by up to $150, and the M5 MacBook Air is back at what 9to5Toys calls its lowest price in months, $200 off. Both of those are current-generation machines already shipping, not pre-order stock.
That is different from the M6 MacBook Pro, the M6 iMac and the MacBook Pro with the Pro XDR display Apple has not yet started shipping widely. 9to5Toys is tracking pre-order pricing on those, which is a reminder that a pre-order discount isn't the same as a deal on a machine sitting in a warehouse ready to go out the door.
The same goes for the next-generation Apple TV 4K and Apple's new HomeView device. Both are still in the pre-order window, and the discount on HomeView had an odd morning. 9to5Toys noted the pre-order offer on the Space Gray HomeView model briefly disappeared, then came back later Friday, which is the kind of thing that happens when retailers are still figuring out their Black Friday pricing a month out.
Further down the list, 9to5Toys flagged smaller accessory deals worth a look for anyone who already bought into Apple's newest hardware, including the OLED iPad mini, a World Travel Kit, and an Apple Pencil USB-C bundle aimed at owners of the iPhone Duo.
None of this is final Black Friday pricing. Retailers typically layer more discounts on top of these as the actual sale date in late November approaches, and prices on pre-order items in particular can shift once stock actually starts shipping. For now, the AirTag 2 price is the one concrete number worth acting on if the rest of the deals are still moving targets, and 9to5Toys says it will keep updating its roundup as more offers land or disappear over the coming weeks.
