Samsung's priciest Galaxy S26 Ultra configuration just got a lot more reachable through a one-day Amazon deal.
9to5Toys reported Thursday that Amazon dropped the 512GB Galaxy S26 Ultra, in brand new and unlocked condition, to $1,127 shipped in the Cobalt Violet colorway. That's $473 off the phone's $1,600 list price, and according to the outlet, within $2 of the lowest price Amazon has offered on the device since Samsung raised prices on the S26 line.
The discount beats what Samsung is charging directly, even with its own promotion running. Samsung's site currently has the same 512GB model marked down $250 as part of a Samsung Week sale, which still puts it at $1,350. Amazon's price undercuts that by $223.
Not every color is seeing the same cut. 9to5Toys says the other Galaxy S26 Ultra colorways on Amazon aren't discounted as deeply as the Violet unit, though some of them still beat Samsung's direct sale price.
As with most one-off Amazon phone deals, this one came with a warning attached. 9to5Toys flagged it as unlikely to stick around, calling it one of the better offers the site has tracked on a new-condition Galaxy S26 Ultra in months.
Why the gap exists
Samsung's flagship pricing has crept up this generation, and retailers have been left to compete on their own markdowns rather than matching a single official price cut. That's produced a pattern where Amazon, Best Buy and other retail partners post short-lived discounts that beat whatever Samsung itself is running that week, especially on specific colors or storage tiers Samsung needs to move.
The 512GB tier sits at the top of the Galaxy S26 Ultra lineup, aimed at buyers who want the most storage without switching to a separate Ultra variant. At $1,127, it lands closer to what last year's base Galaxy S25 Ultra models have been going for in separate Amazon promotions, according to 9to5Toys, which noted a Galaxy S25 Ultra deal at $799, $600 below the new flagship even after this cut.
Amazon has not said how long the $1,127 price will hold, and deal pricing on flagship phones tends to move daily depending on stock and promotional cycles. Shoppers who want the Cobalt Violet unit at this price have reason to act before Amazon resets it, but there's no confirmed end date attached to the listing. Anyone priced out should keep an eye on Samsung's own Samsung Week promotion too, since the gap between the two sellers has been shifting through the week.
