Three Amazon deals stood out in CNET's daily deals roundup published Tuesday evening, and the steepest cut belongs to a pair of noise-canceling earbuds that will not stay this cheap for long.
The JLab Go Air Pop Plus earbuds are down to $16, a 47% discount, but CNET says the price holds only through Tuesday night. The earbuds pack 10mm drivers that JLab claims are 40% larger than what competitors typically use, plus active noise cancellation aimed at people who need quiet for work or study. Battery life runs past seven hours on the buds themselves, and the charging case stretches that to roughly 24 hours total. A 10-minute top-off in the case adds about an hour of playtime, useful if you forgot to charge overnight. A Dual Connect feature lets you pair one earbud or both at once, handy for calls and meetings where you only need audio in one ear.
Anker's Solix S2000 power station is the pricier find on CNET's list, now listed at $650, a $549 cut from its regular price. The S2000 launched earlier this summer and is built as whole-home backup power, with a peak output of 3,000 watts that Anker says can run larger appliances like refrigerators and microwaves during an outage. CNET notes it's about 30% smaller and 25% lighter than most other 2,000-watt-hour power stations on the market, which matters if floor space in a garage or closet is tight. Anker also claims lower idle power draw, meaning less frequent recharging when the unit sits unused, and rates the S2000 for a 15-year lifespan.
