Amazon marked down a wide collection of console titles on Wednesday during its autumn sales promotion, discounting physical releases for both the Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. The price cuts span unreleased pre-orders alongside major catalog releases.
When 9to5Toys reported the promotions on Wednesday morning, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight was listed at an all-time low price on Amazon, though the outlet did not specify the exact dollar figure. Capcom's Pragmata touched its own record low at $39.99. Nintendo Switch 2 releases also saw notable movements, with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth discounted by 30 percent and Pokémon Legends: Z-A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition marked down to $40.
Amazon also posted pre-order reductions for upcoming Nintendo games, trimming prices on the Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake and the new Switch Sports Resort.
Deep Cuts on PlayStation 5 Releases
The markdown catalog extends heavily into Sony's hardware library. PlayStation 5 games saw reductions reaching more than 60 percent off their suggested retail figures when the retailer published the cuts on 7 October 2026.
Elden Ring Nightreign: Deluxe Edition was listed at $23, marked down from its usual $55 retail tag. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds dropped from $70 down to $20, while Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade also fell to $20 from its standard $40 sticker.
Sports titles saw matching discounts. EA Sports Madden NFL 27 Standard Edition and EA Sports College Football 27 Standard Edition were each listed at $43 on Amazon, cut from their regular $70 prices.
RPG and Action Bargains
A cluster of Japanese role-playing games and action titles landed at flat $20 price points. Tales of Berseria: Remastered fell to $20 from $30. Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, Slitterhead: Day 1 Edition, and Farmagia: Day 1 Edition were each listed at $20, down from their standard $40 prices.
Other PlayStation 5 markdowns included Dragon Quest VII Reimagined at $29 against a $60 standard price, Final Fantasy Tactics: Ivalice Chronicles at $30 down from $50, and Dragonkin: The Banished at $30 down from $40. My Hero Academia: All's Justice was listed at $27 against a $40 retail price, while Life is Strange: Reunion hit $25 down from $40.
Higher-tier reductions included The Adventures of Elliot: Millennium Tales at $45, down from $60, and The Blood of Dawnwalker: Day 1 Edition at $59, reduced from $70.
Inventory for physical disc and cartridge deals during seasonal retailer promotions usually fluctuates as units claim out, leaving late shoppers subject to standard price resets.
