Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days promotion wrapped up this week, but several handset discounts stuck around after the event closed. Shoppers browsing Amazon without an active Prime membership can pick up multiple Google and Samsung devices at the exact discounts previously gated behind the annual subscription, according to tracking published by GSMArena on Friday, October 10.
Not every handset kept its reduced tag, though. While some devices held their ground or dropped further, others climbed back toward regular retail pricing.
Foldables and Flagships Hold Firm
Samsung's premium foldable lineup stayed heavily discounted across several variants. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra was listed at $1,700 for the 256GB edition and $1,900 for the 512GB configuration on Amazon when GSMArena reported the pricing on Friday afternoon. Those figures matched the previous two-day sale rates, with no Prime subscription needed to check out.
The standard Galaxy Z Fold8 did not hold its promo figure. It jumped by $100 after the sale ended, leaving merely a $50 price gap between the standard model and the Fold8 Ultra on the retailer's site. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip8 remained listed under $1,000, holding onto its event discount.
Motorola did not leave its clamshell promotions active. Both the Razr Ultra 2025 and Razr Ultra 2026 climbed by $100 once the Prime event ended on Wednesday.
Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra actually dropped lower than its Prime event price on Amazon, though that break applied only to specific finishes. The 256GB model saw its steepest drop in Black, while the 512GB version dropped lowest in Sky Blue. Other colorways were listed between $40 and $90 higher when GSMArena checked.
Both the standard Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26+ carried their sale tags into the weekend without price increases.
Budget Picks and the Pixel Lineup
Sub-$600 pricing arrived for the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, marking the first discount Amazon has applied to that model. The phone launched without wired DeX functionality after Samsung dropped DisplayPort support from the USB-C port, relying on an Exynos 2500 processor rather than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 found in the core S26 models.
For shoppers spending even less, the Galaxy A57 was listed at more than $100 below the discounted S26 FE on Amazon on Friday. That cheaper handset trades away the telephoto camera, 15W wireless charging, and runs on an Exynos 1680 chip.
Google's Pixel 11 family also held its discounted event pricing on Amazon without requiring Prime membership, covering both regular and Pro sizes. Retail pricing on open-market stock remains fluid following major sales periods, and Amazon has not indicated how long these extended cuts will stay live.
