Amazon opened its two-day Prime Big Deal Days sale on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, rolling out promotional cuts across tablets and wearables. The sales window runs for 48 hours, with GSMArena reporting that hardware from Apple, Samsung, Google, and Amazon received price cuts during the event.
On the tablet side, Apple's M4-powered iPad Air models from earlier this year joined the markdown roster. The 11-inch and 13-inch variants feature 12GB of RAM and Wi-Fi 7. They also provide a USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 port for external display output, though both stick with 60Hz IPS LCD screens. The 8.3-inch iPad mini with the A17 Pro processor was listed with discounts as well.
Samsung buyers looking for flagship hardware get the Galaxy Tab S11 rather than any newer Tab S12 release. The Tab S11 runs a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor behind an 11-inch 120Hz OLED panel, with wired DeX output over USB-C 3.2. Further down the price ladder, discounts landed on the Galaxy Tab S10 FE with its 10.9-inch display and 8,000mAh battery, alongside the 13.1-inch S10 FE+ and its 10,090mAh cell. Both FE models use an Exynos 1580 chip. Samsung's Galaxy Tab S10 Lite with an Exynos 1380 and the Tab A11+ running a Dimensity 7300 chip received price cuts as well.
Wearables see modern hardware reduced alongside older inventory. Apple's new Apple Watch Series 12 is included, packing the S11 chip for on-device intelligence features, faster biometric heart-rate polling, and optional 5G cellular support. The Apple Watch SE 3 was discounted too, using an S10 processor with 64GB of storage but omitting an ECG sensor.
Samsung's newest Watch9 lineup missed out on sale pricing. Shoppers instead have the 2025 Galaxy Watch8 and the rotating-bezel Galaxy Watch8 Classic, both running Samsung's Exynos W1000 silicon with built-in ECG sensors. Google's Pixel Watch 5 saw price reductions on its cellular model, which packs satellite SOS functionality for emergency communication away from cell coverage.
Amazon also marked down its own device stable. When GSMArena reported the listings on Tuesday, the Kindle Scribe — available in monochrome and Colorsoft editions with an 11-inch screen and bundled stylus, was listed with a 24 percent discount. The Fire TV Stick 4K (2026), released just a week earlier with Vega OS instead of Fire OS and AV1 support, was listed at half price. Smart displays were discounted as well, including the Echo Show 8, Echo Show 11, and the larger wall-mounted Echo Show 15 and 21.
The Prime Big Deal Days promotions run through Wednesday, October 7, after which pricing across these tablets and connected accessories is scheduled to return to standard retail levels.
