Hardware makers opened their order books on Wednesday for the first systems built around Nvidia's RTX Spark platform. Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and MSI put their configurations up for preorder alongside Microsoft's Surface Laptop Ultra, giving prospective buyers their first official look at retail pricing.

Entry into the lineup sits right at $2,599.99 in the United States. That base tier belongs to two machines: Microsoft's Surface Laptop Ultra and the Asus ProArt P14.

Microsoft equips the Surface Laptop Ultra with a mini-LED panel, an N1X processor, an RTX GPU, and unified memory configurations reaching 128GB. Asus took a different direction with its ProArt line, pitching the P14 as its lightest ProArt chassis to date. Asus also opened preorders for the larger ProArt P16, which swaps in an OLED panel and bumps the opening price to $2,799.99. Both Asus builds and Microsoft's Surface ship on October 16.

Dell set the highest entry point among the group. The updated XPS 16 starts at $3,799.99, retaining its lattice-free keyboard layout and pairing the internal RTX Spark hardware with a 3.2K OLED display. Dell lists the machine for shipment on October 16.

Shoppers looking at 2-in-1 designs have two primary choices on the table. Lenovo priced the Yoga 9n at $3,099.99 through retailers including Best Buy, with deliveries beginning on October 16. MSI has its own convertible on deck, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+, equipped with a Tandem OLED screen. Preorders for the MSI machine open October 8 at an opening price of $3,299.99.

HP is taking a slightly longer runway. The company listed two models under its OmniBook branding, but both ship later than the competition. The compact OmniBook X 14 starts at $2,999.99, while the OmniBook Ultra 16 starts at $3,199.99 with a 16-inch 3K OLED screen. HP's online store lists deliveries for both systems starting November 4.

None of these early listings come cheap. Every manufacturer has placed its RTX Spark tier well above standard premium laptop pricing, targeting creative professionals and heavy compute users who need dedicated silicon.

Retail availability expands next week when the initial October 16 wave starts landing on doorsteps across North America.
