Asus has launched new Vivobook S14 and S16 laptops globally — both built around Intel’s Core 7 350 processor, both with 16GB of soldered LPDDR5X RAM and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and both priced from ₹110,990 in India and $1,147 equivalent elsewhere. The key difference? Screen size and refresh rate: the S14 sticks with a 14-inch, 60Hz, 1920 × 1200 IPS panel (300 nits, 100% sRGB), while the S16 ups the ante to a 16-inch, 144Hz version of the same resolution and spec set. Neither model offers display upgrades like higher resolution or OLED, this is a performance-and-refresh-rate play, not a pixel-count one. And yes, both claim over 20 hours of video playback for the S14 and over 15 hours for the S16. Despite sharing the same 52.5Wh battery. That discrepancy points to tuning, not capacity. The NPU is rated at 17 TOPS, matching what Intel lists for the Core 7 350, and integrated graphics are standard Iris Xe. No discrete GPU option appears in any listed configuration. Connectivity is consistent across models: two USB-C (DP + PD), two USB-A, HDMI 2.1 TMDS, 3.5mm jack, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 1080p webcam. Windows 11 Home ships on Indian units. Regional variants may bundle different software. The S14 weighs 1.2 kg. The S16, 1.5 kg. Both have an M.2 2280 slot for storage expansion, but no memory upgrade path. In India, the S14 (model S5452MA-TM198WS) is ₹110,990. The S16 (S5652MA-TK191WS) is ₹113,990. Singapore lists the S14 at S$1,749. Down from S$2,099. Italy prices the S16 at €999. Poland’s sold-out variant was PLN 4,999. Serbia’s listing is RSD 109,999. These are launch prices, not flash-sale drops. And they land squarely between last year’s Snapdragon Vivobook S16 (which had a sharper 2560 × 1600 screen but weaker CPU performance) and Asus’s own Vivobook Pro line, which trades battery life for discrete graphics and higher-res displays. No US pricing or availability is mentioned in the sources. So for now, this is a global rollout, just not yet in the United States. Shipments are live in the markets named. No end-of-year holiday timing is cited. Just: available now.
