Bose QuietComfort headphones were listed at $123 on Bose's official eBay storefront when IGN reported the promotion on Monday evening, marking a steep cut from the model's standard $359 retail tag.
The inventory consists of certified refurbished units shipped directly by Bose rather than third-party liquidators. Each set comes packed inside original retail boxes and carries a two-year Allstate warranty, along with free delivery. That works out to roughly a 66 percent markdown against buying a factory-sealed pair off the shelf.
While Bose has reserved its highest pricing tier for the QuietComfort Ultra, the standard QuietComfort remains the core noise canceling model in the lineup. It largely preserves the chassis and physical layout established by the older QuietComfort 45, sticking to tactile playback buttons and plush earcups instead of shifting to touch swipe surfaces.
Battery endurance is rated for up to 30 hours of listening on a full charge. When the pack drains, a 15-minute quick top-up through USB-C provides several hours of extra playback time, enough to handle an extended commute or a cross-country flight without sitting tethered to a wall socket for long.
Buying manufacturer refurbished gear has become one of the standard paths to getting premium active noise canceling hardware without paying flagship money. At $123, the refurbished units sit well under half the going rate of the QuietComfort Ultra, landing closer to entry-level budget models from competing brands that lack comparable noise cancellation hardware.
Bose has not specified how many units are allocated to the eBay outlet storefront or how long the lower price will stay active. Stock on certified refurbished promotions tends to run until the current batch of returned and inspected hardware sells out.
