Casio's Edifice EFV-650D was listed at $75.45 on Amazon in the United States when Notebookcheck reported the drop on Monday, October 12. That marks the lowest figure price-tracking service Keepa has ever logged for the steel chronograph, coming in 37 percent below its standard $120 list price.

The markdown holds up to scrutiny. Casio's official US web store sells the EFV-650D for $120, and Amazon charged that exact $120 sticker as recently as September 28 before cutting the cost on October 11. Over the trailing 90 days, the watch averaged $109.60 on Amazon, and its 180-day average sat at $107.10. At $75.45, buyers save about $34 against typical marketplace pricing, representing a 31 percent drop from what it usually commands.

Even the second-hand market cannot compete with the new discount. Pre-owned units of the EFV-650D averaged $94.44 across the previous 90 days, and tracking logs showed zero used inventory available when the deal emerged. A brand-new order undercuts that typical used average by nearly $19, making the clearance price lower than what people have recently spent on worn copies.

There is an obvious trade-off tucked into the listing, however. Amazon's product page notes that the watch "usually ships within 1 to 2 months." Estimated delivery windows currently stretch between November 8 and December 9. Anyone paying the lower price today faces a delivery wait of four weeks at the earliest, and up to two full months if Amazon's later estimate holds.

For buyers comfortable with delayed fulfillment, the package offers a lot of metal for the money. Casio built the EFV-650D out of stainless steel, giving it a 43.5 mm diameter, a 48.6 mm lug-to-lug span, and a thickness of 11 mm. It weighs 128 grams on the wrist. Three subdials track 24-hour time, stopwatch minutes, and stopwatch seconds, set beside a date window. The chronograph runs up to 59 minutes and 59 seconds in one-second increments, supporting split and first-to-second place timing modes.

Casio rates the case for 100 meters of water resistance, backed by a screw-down caseback. That degree of protection is rare under $80, though buyers will find mineral crystal across the dial rather than scratch-resistant sapphire. Internal timekeeping relies on a standard quartz movement rated for accuracy within 20 seconds a month. An SR920SW silver-oxide cell powers the movement, with Casio rating its operating life at roughly two years before requiring replacement.

Amazon has not indicated when the $75.45 price tag will shift back to list price, or whether additional warehouse stock might pull those November and December delivery dates forward.
