Samsung has seeded a beta build of One UI 9.5 to the Galaxy S26 Ultra — firmware version S948BXXU6ZZK3, confirming the update is in final internal testing ahead of public rollout. The build, spotted on Samsung’s servers and shared by tipster @Kailash0729, carries bootloader version U6, up from U5, signalling a low-level system readiness check before wider distribution.

No release date is confirmed, but SamMobile estimates beta sign-ups could open later this month or early December. That would align with Samsung’s recent cadence: One UI 9.0 rolled out broadly in August 2026, and the company typically runs beta programs for four to six weeks before stable deployment. This version is built on Android 17, not yet publicly released by Google, meaning Samsung is shipping its own fork ahead of the upstream OS launch.

The stable One UI 9.5 is expected to land on the Galaxy S27 series at launch in early 2027. For now, only the Galaxy S26 Ultra has been verified to host the beta build. No other models, not even the S26+ or S26, are confirmed to be in the test group.

Samsung hasn’t announced eligibility criteria, pricing, or feature list. And no Indian or US pricing applies here: this is software, not hardware. It won’t cost users anything. But it does mean owners of the Galaxy S26 Ultra should watch Samsung Members for a beta registration toggle, likely within days.
