The Intel Core i9-14900KF is now $369.99 on Amazon — its lowest price ever, beating last year’s low of $391. That’s not a flash sale or limited stock alert. It’s part of a broad, sustained price drop across Intel’s Raptor Lake Refresh (14th Gen) lineup during Amazon’s Big Deals Day event in early October 2026.
The Core i9-14900K, same chip but with integrated graphics. Is also discounted, down to $400. Both chips retain Intel’s hybrid architecture: eight performance cores and 16 efficiency cores, with single-core boosts up to 6 GHz. Tom’s Hardware confirms the KF variant remains its top-rated Intel CPU for gaming, outperforming even the newer Core Ultra 7 270K Plus in that category.
That performance edge matters, especially because Raptor Lake Refresh still supports DDR4 memory. With DDR5 prices continuing to inflate system build costs, the ability to pair these CPUs with cheaper DDR4 kits makes them unusually relevant in late 2026. The trade-off? Around 13% less gaming performance versus DDR5, according to Tom’s Hardware testing.
The Core i7-14700KF follows closely at $279.99. Also an all-time low. Its sibling, the Core i7-14700K, is $299.99. This tier delivers 97% of the i9-14900K’s gaming performance, thanks to identical eight performance cores and a reduced count of 12 efficiency cores. It’s being called the “sweet spot” for Intel’s 14th-gen stack.
A $80 discount applies to the Core i7-14700KF using code FTTF7678 at checkout, though the base price already reflects the steepest drop seen since launch.
Lower down, the Core i5-14400F is on sale. A rarity for this chip. Priced at an unlisted but improved figure over recent months (sources note it had hovered near $200 for most of 2026), it’s a 10-core part with six performance cores and four efficiency cores, maxing out at 4.7 GHz. It fits LGA 1700 motherboards and supports both DDR4 and DDR5. It’s positioned as a gaming-focused alternative to the pricier 14600K, trading multi-threaded headroom for lower cost.
Not every chip is discounted. The Core i5-14600KF remains at $239.99, unchanged from recent months, though still better than earlier 2026 pricing.
Intel has signaled long-term support for Raptor Lake. Robert Hallock, Intel’s senior director of technical marketing, told Tom’s Hardware earlier this year that the platform remains “a core part of Intel’s strategy for years to come.” These price cuts may reflect inventory stabilization. Not fire-sale clearance.
One caveat: buyers should ensure their motherboard BIOS is updated. Intel released mitigations for Raptor Lake degradation issues, and those require firmware updates to take effect.
These deals are live globally on Amazon as part of Big Deals Day, which runs through early October 2026. No regional pricing variations are cited in the source material, all figures are in USD and apply to the US storefront.
