Best Buy’s Techtober Sale has added new Windows laptop deals, including the HP OmniBook 3 at $399.99 — its lowest price yet. That’s $200 off MSRP and $50 below its previous all-time low. The sale is live globally, but pricing and availability are for the US market only, per 9to5Toys. No Indian or UK pricing is cited in the reporting. It’s a 14-inch 2K OLED laptop with Qualcomm’s eight-core Snapdragon X chip, 8GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD. This isn’t a Copilot+ PC, the OmniBook 3 predates Microsoft’s Copilot+ certification requirements and lacks the required NPU. But it’s being grouped in Best Buy’s broader “Copilot+ PCs and OLED models” promotion banner, likely for display placement. The $399.99 deal applies to a specific configuration: no variants or SKUs are named. Other laptops in the sale start as low as $179, though 9to5Toys doesn’t name those models or specify whether they’re desktops or laptops. Up to $770 off is cited as the maximum discount across the entire PC category. Not on any single device. The sale is ongoing. No end date is given. For readers searching “laptops for sale” or “laptops best buy”, this is a verified, live offer on a compact, OLED-equipped Windows laptop under $400, a rare price point for that display tech. It arrives just as demand spikes for portable machines with better screens and longer battery life, especially among remote workers and students. Best Buy hasn’t confirmed whether this OmniBook 3 configuration will be restocked if it sells out. The deal was reported by 9to5Toys at 13:38 ET on October 8, 2026.
