LEGO Icons Project Hail Mary set drops to $69.99 for Amazon Big Deal Days — first discount since March launch The LEGO Icons Project Hail Mary set is on sale for $69.99 during Amazon’s Big Deal Days 2026, down from its $99.99 launch price. It’s the first time the 830-piece model has been discounted since it hit shelves in March, following the film’s theatrical release.

The set recreates the film’s spacecraft in precise scale, with gray-and-gold exterior detailing and a functional crank mechanism that extends and spins the centrifuge, no batteries, no electronics, just mechanical LEGO engineering. It includes two minifigures: Dr. Grace and Rocky, the latter built entirely from bricks to capture his expressive, non-human form.

A display stand is bundled in. This is the only official LEGO set based on the movie. No sequel or spin-off sets have been announced. Earlier this year, fans built unofficial Rocky figures using existing parts.

But those aren’t part of LEGO’s official lineup. Also discounted: the deluxe edition of Andy Weir’s original novel, now $22 (45% off its $40 cover price), with preorder open ahead of its 1 December release. The edition features sprayed edges and custom interior artwork. The set is available globally via Amazon during Big Deal Days, which runs through 12 October.

No regional pricing variations are reported. LEGO has not confirmed whether this discount signals broader availability or future restocks, only that the sale is live now.
