Lenovo has introduced the ThinkBook 14x in India, putting Intel's newest Lunar Lake architecture into an ultralight aluminum chassis. Pricing kicks off at Rs 1,08,990 on Lenovo's official storefront, targeting mobile professionals who want full-size connectivity without carrying heavy hardware.

The notebook tips the scales at 990 grams and measures 12.9mm thick. Despite that slight footprint, Lenovo avoided trimming essential hardware ports to save millimetres. The laptop includes two USB-C connections, two standard USB-A ports, and a full-size HDMI output, reducing the need for dongles when hooking into projectors or desk accessories.

Silicon, Memory, and Storage

Buyers can configure the machine with either an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V or an Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor. Because of Lunar Lake's design, memory sits directly on the processor package itself. That caps the device at 16GB of RAM for its entire operating life, with no option for physical expansion down the road.

Lenovo balanced that limitation by offering flexible internal storage. The system carries two separate SSD slots, shipping from the factory with either 512GB or 1TB drives while leaving an open slot for an aftermarket second drive. The integrated neural processing power pushes the laptop past Microsoft's threshold for Copilot+ PC certification, enabling offline Windows AI utilities out of the box.

Displays and Configurations

Lenovo splits the ThinkBook 14x lineup across three distinct hardware tiers based on panel choice and battery size:

  • Base model: A standard LED panel paired with a 54.7Wh battery.
  • Mid-tier model: The same 54.7Wh cell powering a touch-enabled LED display.
  • Top-tier model: A 14-inch 2.8K OLED panel featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness, paired with a larger 65Wh battery pack.

All three variants share a MIL-STD-810H durability rating against temperature swings and everyday drops. Other hardware touches include a glass touchpad, an ambient light-sensing backlit keyboard, and presence sensors that blur your screen when someone approaches from behind. Wireless connections rely on Wi-Fi 6E, and all models arrive running Windows 11 Pro.

The ThinkBook 14x is available immediately through the custom-to-order configurator on Lenovo's Indian website.
