Oppo is adding a fifth color to the Find X10 lineup. The company confirmed on Monday that a Forest Green edition of the phone, developed with artist Karlotta Freier, goes on sale in China on October 30. There's no price yet for the new finish.
For context, the standard Find X10 range in China starts at 5,499 yuan (roughly $820) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. Step up to 12GB and 512GB and it's 5,999 yuan (~$895). The 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB versions run 6,499 yuan (~$970) and 7,499 yuan (~$1,120). Whether Forest Green slots into those same tiers or commands a premium as a special edition isn't clear yet.
The Find X10 already ships in Glacier Blue, Mist Titanium and Coral alongside the original green. Forest Green appears to be a distinct, artist-led take on that existing palette rather than a replacement for any of them.
A China-first launch, a global question mark
Oppo hasn't said anything about bringing the new color beyond China. The Find X10 itself only recently joined the larger Find X10 Pro Max in markets outside China, so there's already an established international rollout for the line. But Gizmochina notes the Forest Green version was announced specifically for the Chinese market, and nothing suggests an international release is coming soon. Buyers outside China shouldn't expect to see this finish on store shelves anytime soon, if at all.
What's under the hood
Color aside, the Find X10 itself is a heavily specced phone. It runs a 6.59-inch LTPO AMOLED display at 2,768 by 1,272 pixels with up to a 144Hz refresh rate, and Oppo says the bezels measure just 0.99mm on all four sides. Power comes from MediaTek's Dimensity 9600M chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage in the Chinese configuration.
The camera setup leans on a 200-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel ultrawide. An 8,000mAh battery backs it all up, with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Oppo has also given the phone IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, which cover everything from dust to high-pressure water jets. It ships with ColorOS 17 layered on Android 17.
For now, the Forest Green model is a China-only story, and Oppo hasn't said when, or whether, it'll say more about pricing or wider availability. The bigger Find X10 Pro Max remains the version international shoppers can actually buy, and any decision on taking this new finish global will likely hinge on how it performs at home first.
