Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Launches In India And Europe At Steep Prices

The Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max have followed last month's China debut with Indian and European launches, though GSMArena's review flags a smaller battery and slower charging on European units.

Oppo's Find X10 series has made it out of China. A month after launching there, the Find X10 and the Find X10 Pro Max are now official in India and Europe, arriving within days of each other this week, according to GSMArena.

The headline number is the price, and it isn't small. GSMArena points to the outgoing Find X9 Ultra, which sells for £1,450 in the UK, €1,700 in Europe and ₹170,000 in India for the 12GB/512GB configuration, as the benchmark the new phones have to beat. Oppo is offering pre-order perks to soften the blow, but the outlet's own review is blunt about it: whatever the discounts, these are expensive phones.

What you get for that money, at least on the Pro Max, is a camera system built around three 200-megapixel sensors. The main camera uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor, the 3x/70mm telephoto and the 13mm ultra-wide both get 1/1.56-inch sensors, and the selfie camera carries a 50-megapixel, 1/2.76-inch sensor. GSMArena's review describes the phone as an Ultra in all but name, which says something about where Oppo is positioning it against its own lineup.

The Pro Max runs MediaTek's Dimensity 9600 Pro, a 2nm chip built on Arm's newest C2 CPU design paired with a Mali G2-Ultra NX GPU. GSMArena's testing had it outperforming Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in certain benchmarks, though the review notes cooling was only adequate, not exceptional, under sustained load.

Where the regular Find X10 differs

The standard Find X10 trades down to a Dimensity 9600M, a 3nm chip based on last year's 9500-generation hardware rather than the newer 2nm silicon. Camera hardware shifts too: a 200-megapixel main sensor that's slightly smaller at 1/1.4 inch, a 200-megapixel telephoto with the same 1/1.56-inch sensor but a different 2.8x/65mm lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide at 1/2.75 inch.

Display size is the other split. The Find X10 gets a 6.59-inch panel, the Pro Max a 6.78-inch one, both running 1272p+ resolution at 144Hz with LTPO for variable refresh. Battery and charging specs are shared across both models on paper: 80W wired charging and 50W wireless, with an 8,000mAh cell everywhere except Europe, where GSMArena says the pack shrinks to 7,150mAh.

That European battery cut is one of a handful of complaints in GSMArena's review, alongside charging that doesn't feel especially fast for an 80W-rated phone, weak speaker output for the price bracket, and the loss of the Quick Button found on earlier Find models. None of that, the review says, outweighs the price as the biggest sticking point.

Oppo hasn't detailed exact retail prices for the Find X10 or Find X10 Pro Max in India or Europe in the material reviewed here, but the comparison to the Find X9 Ultra's six-figure rupee and four-figure pound pricing gives a sense of where the new phones are expected to sit. Local pricing and availability windows should firm up as retailers in both markets start taking orders.
