Oppo is giving the Find X10 a fresh coat of paint. The company has added Forest Green to the phone's color lineup in China, a month after the device first went on sale there and about a week after it launched in Europe in a slightly different form.
The Find X10 originally came in three shades: Glacier Blue, Glow Coral, and Mist Grey. Forest Green is the fourth, and it's already listed for sale on Oppo's online store in China, even though the company's official Weibo post pegs the release for October 30.
Not every configuration gets the new color, though. The Find X10 normally ships in four RAM and storage combinations, but Forest Green is limited to three, the same restriction that applies to the Glow Coral option. Buyers can get it with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for CNY 5,499, with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for CNY 5,999, or with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for CNY 6,499. Converted roughly, that's about $825, $900, and $975, or around €739, €807, and €874, though those figures are approximate and the phone isn't officially priced in dollars or euros since it isn't sold in the US. Pricing for Forest Green matches what Oppo already charges for the other three colors, so the new shade isn't a premium option, just an alternative.
Whether Forest Green makes it beyond China is an open question. Oppo hasn't said if the color will come to Europe or any other market, and even if it does, Notebookcheck notes it would likely show up later than the China release. That matters because the European Find X10, which arrived only a week ago, already diverges from the Chinese version in ways beyond just packaging, so a straightforward color port isn't guaranteed.
This kind of midlife color refresh isn't unusual for Oppo. Flagship phones often pick up new finishes months after launch as a way to keep a device visible on store shelves without touching the hardware. It costs little to produce a new paint job and can nudge buyers who skipped the original three options.
For now, Forest Green is a China-only story. Shoppers outside the country who want the Find X10 are stuck with Glacier Blue, Glow Coral, or Mist Grey, whatever region they're buying in. If Oppo does decide to bring the new color to Europe or other markets, it will likely arrive as part of a later restock rather than a simultaneous rollout, following the pattern Oppo has already set with the phone's staggered international launch.
