Oppo's Find X10 Pro Max is rolling out beyond China this week, and the headline feature is one nobody else has shipped yet: three separate 200-megapixel sensors on the back of the phone, according to GSMArena, which reviewed the device. The main camera uses a new Samsung ISOCELL HPC sensor, while the telephoto and ultrawide both use the established ISOCELL HP5. The selfie camera gets a shorter 18mm focal length for wider group shots.
The launch covers three phones this generation: the Find X10 E, the plain Find X10, and the Pro Max. There's no mid-tier "Pro" model this time, which leaves the Pro Max to carry on from last year's Find X9 Pro in size and positioning, even though Oppo has reshuffled the lineup around it.
The chip and the screen
Inside is the Dimensity 9600 Pro, a 2nm chipset built on Arm's new C2 cores. Oppo and MediaTek claim it delivers 61% better multi-core power efficiency than the previous generation, along with a Mali-G2 Ultra NX GPU that's 27% faster, including an 18% jump in ray-tracing performance, while using 24% less power. The NPU is rated for 51% faster prompt processing and 55% faster token generation per watt, according to figures GSMArena reported from Oppo.
The 6.78-inch OLED display carries over from the Find X9 Pro in size, but GSMArena says the panel itself is new, with a 144Hz refresh rate and higher peak brightness. Charging hasn't moved: it's still 80W wired SuperVOOC and 50W wireless AirVOOC.
A battery that depends on where you live
Here's the catch. Markets outside the European Union get an 8,000mAh battery, but EU units ship with a smaller 7,150mAh cell, which GSMArena attributes to air transport restrictions on battery capacity. That's actually a step down from the Find X9 Pro, which carried a 7,500mAh battery everywhere.
GSMArena says it hasn't had confirmation on which battery India will get, but expects the bigger 8,000mAh version given the country's launch is scheduled for the day after the global rollout. Android Authority's review, based on a European 7,150mAh unit, still called the phone "the ultimate Android flagship, at a price," pointing to the 2nm processor, the three 200-megapixel cameras and the 80W charging as the draws, even with the smaller European battery.
The Pro Max also works with an optional Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit, not included in the standard box, which adds 3.28x optical zoom on top of the 3x telephoto lens. Oppo is also selling magnetic Quicksand Shimmer cases designed to pair with its own 22.5W, 5,000mAh magnetic power bank.
Pricing varies by market too
In Europe, the standard Find X10 starts at €1,300/£1,100 for 256GB and €1,500/£1,250 for 512GB. The Find X10 Pro Max comes only in a 512GB configuration, priced at €1,800/£1,500. For comparison, last year's Find X9 Ultra, which ran a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 instead of MediaTek silicon, sold for €1,700 in France.
UK and German buyers get launch bundles worth up to roughly £500 or €550, letting them choose between the Hasselblad Teleconverter, the Oppo Watch X3 or the Oppo Pad 5, plus trade-in bonuses for old Oppo or OnePlus devices. Indian and US pricing hasn't been disclosed. India's launch is set for Wednesday, the day after the wider global rollout began.
