Mycopunk lands in the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on October 20 — the first confirmed title for Sony’s October 2026 lineup. It arrives alongside its full PS5 release, exiting Early Access after more than a year of PC development that began on July 10, 2025. Extra and Premium subscribers get it day one, no extra cost. No other titles have been announced yet. Sony says the full catalog drops later this month. The game is not new to the ecosystem, but its arrival marks the first time PlayStation Plus members can access it without buying it outright. Mycopunk is a four-player co-op looter shooter set on a planet overrun by sentient fungus. Players command the New Atlas Hazard Crew: robot outcasts contracted by SAXON Corporation to contain the outbreak. Combat leans into chaotic tool-based weaponry. Power drills, plasma cutters, fungal spore launchers, and deep grid-based modding. Hundreds of handcrafted upgrades let players stack healing buffs, weapon enhancements, or deliberately unstable builds. PlayStation Support pages now list Mycopunk under ‘Available Now’ for Plus members with active Extra or Premium subscriptions. Though the listing goes live only on October 20. No pricing is attached, as expected: Game Catalog titles are included at no additional charge for eligible tiers. This isn’t a re-release or port-only drop. The PS5 version ships with all post-Early Access content baked in, including the final boss encounter, the full New Atlas campaign arc, and cross-save support with PC via cloud sync (confirmed in PlayStation’s X post). The October Game Catalog refresh follows a strong September lineup that included RuneScape: Dragonwilds and WWE 2K26. But unlike those, Mycopunk arrives as a simultaneous global launch, no staggered regional rollouts. Sony has not confirmed whether it will remain in the catalog beyond October. PlayStation Plus Extra costs $17.99/month or $99.99/year in the US. Rs 899/month or Rs 4,999/year in India. Premium adds cloud streaming and classics, priced at $19.99/month or $119.99/year in the US, Rs 999/month or Rs 5,499/year in India. Mycopunk launches on PS5 October 20. The rest of the October Game Catalog drops later this month.
