Lenovo's Tab One dropped to $100 following a 41 percent reduction, while retailers rolled out markdowns on home screens including Samsung's portable monitor. The wave of discounts was reported by PCMag on Friday, October 9, covering budget computing, smart home bundles, and personal audio.
The sharpest dollar drop among the handheld hardware went to Lenovo. The Tab One was listed at $100, down from its typical price point via the 41 percent discount when PCMag reported it. The budget tablet carries an 8.7-inch IPS screen running at 1390 x 800 resolution, cased inside a recycled plastic shell. Power comes from an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chipset paired with a modest 64GB of built-in storage. Users looking to load up media files have access to a microSD expansion slot, and the outlet highlighted reliable battery performance for everyday tasks.
For living rooms and flexible office setups, the discount roundup included Samsung's Movingstyle Essential. The hybrid unit mounts a 32-inch 4K screen onto a height-adjustable pole with a wheeled base, supported by an included 13-foot power cord so it can roll between rooms. Rather than operating purely as a computer monitor, it runs Samsung's Tizen TV platform for stand-alone streaming and accepts physical inputs over HDMI and USB-C. A built-in Workspace zone enables remote connections to external PCs and runs Microsoft 365 software natively without requiring a separate desktop hooked up.
