Ring is overhauling its home monitoring catalog with five new security cameras, pushing beyond standard resolution and introducing 4K video indoors for the first time. The hardware rollout starts immediately, led by a motorized $70 indoor camera and a $100 high-resolution option.
The $70 Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam 2K targets open floor plans and broad living spaces. Its mechanized base turns a full 360 degrees horizontally and pivots 175 degrees vertically, letting users track movement across an entire room or monitor a patio window from inside. To address privacy concerns, Ring installed a manual privacy cover that physically blocks both the camera lens and the built-in microphone when people are home.
For sharper footage, the Ring Indoor Cam 4K sells for $100. That marks the first time the Amazon-owned brand has packed full 4K sensor hardware into an indoor-only body. Ring built in automatic HDR processing to keep daylight glare from blowing out faces, alongside real-time live streaming and two-way voice talk.
Outside the house, Ring is introducing three distinct 4K options built to handle the elements. The standard Ring Outdoor Cam 4K Plus sells for $150 and offers four distinct power setups: standard plug-in wiring, rechargeable battery packs, small solar panels, or Power over Ethernet for fixed cabling runs.
For spaces needing active lighting, Ring updated its exterior flood setups. Both the Ring Spotlight Cam 4K Plus and the larger Ring Floodlight Cam 4K Plus retail for $220. The spotlight model throws targeted beams over walkways and garden paths, while the floodlight unit bathes driveways and wide backyards in high-lumen light. All three outdoor 4K devices went on sale alongside the indoor cameras.
The visual overhaul arrived alongside a rare piece of mechanical experimentation. Ring previewed an upcoming $250 Ring Smart Lock scheduled to ship in early 2027. That lock includes a fold-out crank dial that generates emergency electricity after "a few times" of twisting, preventing lockouts when primary batteries drain. It also includes a fingerprint scanner, numeric keypad, and remote app toggles.
For now, the five cameras are the only products you won't have to wait months to buy. Ring is selling all five models today in the US, with international pricing and release windows for regions such as India still pending.
