Samsung is running a wide collection of trade-in reductions and bundle markdowns across its direct digital storefront, discounting its flagship handsets, tablets, and smart televisions. According to promotional listings rounded up by Wired on Tuesday, October 13, the hardware maker has tied its steepest price cuts to device exchanges and paired purchases on Samsung.com.

Buyers shopping for foldables see the biggest top-line numbers. The Galaxy Z Fold8 was listed with up to $1,200 in instant trade-in value when Wired reported the offer, with wireless carrier promotions running as high as $1,900. Previous generations carry their own exchange reductions: the Galaxy Z Fold7 was listed at $1,000 less with an eligible trade-in, while the Galaxy Z Flip7 qualifies for cuts reaching $600.

Flagship Phones and Accessory Bundles

Direct savings also cover the slab-style models. The Galaxy S25 Ultra had a flat $350 reduction, expandable to $700 in total savings when pairing an instant trade-in with an included storage upgrade. Ordering that device also unlocks 30 percent off accompanying Galaxy Buds, tablets, and smartwatches.

For the newer hardware, Samsung is leaning on accessory perks and exchange credits rather than deep sticker cuts. Customers picking up a Galaxy S26+ can claim up to $480 in trade-in value, or take $150 off device add-ons if they do not want to hand over an older phone. Shoppers buying the Galaxy S26 Ultra can take 15 percent off a pair of Buds4 Pro.

Beyond handsets, Samsung knocked $800 off The Frame Pro television when purchased as part of a bundle. Early registrants who sign up for the company's The First Look program can secure up to $100 in direct store credit toward upcoming monitors, home appliances, and 2026 displays.

Targeted Programs and Referral Credits

Additional tier discounts remain live for specific customer groups. The company's Offer Program — open to military personnel, educators, first responders, and government workers, provides up to 30 percent off qualifying gear. Within that program, the Galaxy Watch8 was listed with an extra 15 percent reduction alongside up to $200 in exchange credit. The Galaxy XR headset, the Galaxy Tab S11 tablet line, and the Frame Pro Neo QLED 4K TV each carried an extra 10 percent discount.

Students can unlock separate reductions on tablets, budget handsets, and refurbished laptops after confirming their status through ID.me or a campus email. The standard customer referral system remains active as well: friends receive 5 percent off their checkout (capped at $250), while the account holder earns up to $100 off per transaction, subject to a $1,000 yearly maximum.

Hardware promotions on manufacturer storefronts shift quickly as inventory balances adjust. How long these trade-in values and bundle percentages hold will depend on Samsung's holiday cadence heading into November.
