Samsung is reportedly asking for more cash across several of its key mid-range smartphones in India. A fresh retail price hike has added Rs 2,000 to the shelf cost of the Samsung Galaxy A27 5G, the Galaxy M47 5G, and the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G, according to a report published by Gadgets 360.
The revision hits multiple memory configurations across the three devices, leaving buyers to absorb higher totals right through the mid-tier catalogue.
Leading the adjustments is the Samsung Galaxy A27 5G. The base variant, which comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, is now reportedly priced at Rs 35,999. That represents a direct jump from its previous Rs 33,999 sticker. Stepping up to the higher tiers costs even more. The 8GB and 128GB trim has reportedly climbed from Rs 40,999 to Rs 42,999, while the top-end 8GB and 256GB model moves up to Rs 47,999 from its earlier tag of Rs 45,999.
Those looking toward the online-focused Galaxy M and Galaxy F lineups will encounter similar adjustments. Both the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G and the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G now reportedly start at Rs 37,999 for their base editions carrying 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Prior to this latest bump, both handsets had been selling for Rs 35,999 in that exact setup.
Component Pressures Take Their Toll
Price adjustments mid-cycle are rarely popular with shoppers, but they reflect real friction behind the scenes. The report links this latest round of Indian price hikes to an ongoing squeeze in memory and storage supplies. When fabrication plants face bottlenecks or component input rates rise, phone makers tend to pass those production expenses directly down the line.
Samsung has not issued an official broadcast detailing the revised numbers, but retail listings and channel inventories frequently show these changes first when distribution agreements shift. For anyone planning to purchase any of these three devices, checking active inventory at local storefronts and retail platforms before checking out is going to be essential, as earlier stock may still sit at older figures until refreshed.
