The Samsung Galaxy Buds Core was listed at $37 on Woot when Android Police reported the listing on Thursday afternoon. That marks a 47 percent discount from the usual $70 retail price for a set of true wireless earbuds equipped with active noise cancellation.
There is an important caveat behind the bargain. Samsung never officially released the Galaxy Buds Core in the United States. The inventory offered by Woot consists of international units imported from overseas markets.
Because these are imported models, Samsung does not back them with its standard manufacturer warranty in the US. Woot has stepped in to cover the hardware with its own 90-day warranty instead, handling customer support directly if a defect shows up. The retailer also accepts standard returns if buyers are unhappy with the purchase.
Shipping costs depend on your subscriptions. Amazon Prime subscribers get free delivery through Woot, while shoppers without Prime pay a flat $6 shipping fee at checkout.
On paper, the Galaxy Buds Core packages a surprising amount of utility into an entry-level shell. Samsung built the earbuds around a compact chassis fitted with small wing tips designed to anchor them firmly inside the ear canal, keeping them steady during workouts or routine commutes. Active noise cancellation is built in to filter ambient background rumble, a feature rarely found on name-brand wireless earbuds priced under $40.
Samsung rates the total runtime at up to 35 hours when factoring in the reserves stored in the bundled charging case. While the earbuds will connect to any standard Bluetooth audio source, Samsung Android phone owners get the tightest ecosystem integration and software controls.
Finding decent active noise cancellation below the $50 threshold usually forces shoppers to roll the dice on obscure third-party labels. Getting hardware from an established player like Samsung at this tier is rare, even if taking advantage of the markdown requires accepting third-party warranty coverage on an import.
