Samsung Galaxy S27 has cleared India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification — model number SM-S952B/DS, making it the first confirmed member of the S27 series to land in the Indian regulatory pipeline. It arrives just weeks after the same model appeared in China’s 3C database and South Korea’s NBD, with consistent specs across filings: a 6.3-inch display, Exynos 2700 chipset, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 25W wired charging support.
That last figure matches the Galaxy S26’s wired speed, no upgrade there. No pricing, launch date, or camera firmware details appear in the BIS listing. But earlier leaks point to a 50MP main sensor (Sony-made, replacing Samsung’s ISOCELL unit), plus carryover 12MP ultrawide and 10MP telephoto lenses, and a 12MP front camera.
The S27 is not the S26 Ultra. It is not the S27 Ultra. It is a new base-model flagship, and it is now officially on India’s radar. Global rollout timing remains unannounced.
Samsung typically launches its S-series in February. Expect confirmation, and pricing, by late January.
