Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra dummy leaks: 200MP main, 5x telephoto, no ultrawide, flatter camera island

No Indian price. No colours. No launch date. Just a 3D-printed shell, CAD files, and confirmation that the S27 Ultra ditches the 3x telephoto for a 5x — and moves the whole camera island up.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra dummy unit leaks — 200MP main, 5x telephoto, no ultrawide, and a flatter camera island than the S26 Ultra. Launch expected early 2027, not in India before March. No Indian price or colour list yet, only rumours of a Diwali discount on current models misattributed to the S27 Ultra in one Tamil-language report.

Don’t confuse that with launch pricing. There is none. Not yet. Not from Samsung.

Not from any official channel. Just CAD files, a 3D-printed shell, and speculation. That’s all we have. And it’s enough to see what’s changing.

The Galaxy S27 Ultra will drop the 10MP 3x telephoto sensor found on the S26 Ultra, the one Notebookcheck calls ‘barely keeping up with digital zoom from the main camera’. In its place: a new 50MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide. Both sensors are larger and more capable on paper.

The main camera jumps to 200MP, same resolution as the S26 Ultra’s, but likely with updated pixel-binning and low-light tuning. Dimensions tick up just slightly: 163.76 × 78.25 × 7.97 mm versus the S26 Ultra’s 163.6 × 78.1 × 7.9 mm. A hair thicker. A hair wider.

Nothing users will feel. But the camera island? That’s where the shift lands. It’s now wide and rectangular, ‘more reminiscent of an iPhone 18 Pro’, per Notebookcheck, with less rounded corners than either the S26 Ultra or Pixel 11 Pro.

Cameras protrude, not flush. And for the first time, the entire module sits above the rear glass panel, not embedded within it. S Pen support remains. So does magnetic wireless charging, now extended to battery packs.

Privacy Display tech is also upgraded, per SamMobile: brighter viewing angles without sacrificing side-angle occlusion. But that upgrade applies only to the S27 Pro and S27 Ultra, not the base S27 or S27+. What’s missing? Any mention of colours.

Any confirmed Indian launch date. Any price, in rupees or dollars. Digit’s Tamil report mistakenly ties a ‘₹49,000 Diwali discount’ to the S27 Ultra. It does not.

That line refers to ongoing offers on existing Samsung phones, a common editorial slip in regional coverage. No source cites an S27 Ultra Indian price. None names Cobalt Violet or any other hue. Those are TikTok tags, not product specs.

So: no colours. No prices. No availability. Just dimensions, camera reconfiguration, and a sharper, taller camera island, all from a non-functional 3D-printed shell built from leaked CAD.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything. It won’t until early 2027. Until then, comparisons to the iPhone 18 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro are visual only, based on how the dummy sits next to them in photos. Real-world performance, battery life (leaked at 5,534 mAh), and software features remain unannounced.

Next step? Official teaser campaign. Expected late December or early January. Then the Unpacked event, most likely February 2027.
