Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra tipped to use Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, 5700mAh battery confirmed — launch expected late January 2027. No official pricing yet, but US and Indian markets likely to follow S26 Ultra’s $1,299 / ₹1,19,999 pattern unless stated otherwise. No Exynos variant for the Ultra is confirmed for any region, despite earlier rumors and internal thermal concerns, Qualcomm has publicly denied systemic overheating issues with the chip.
The S27 Pro will use the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6. Base S27 and S27+ models are expected to ship with Exynos 2700 globally outside the US. That mirrors the S26 split: Snapdragon-only in the US, dual-chip elsewhere, except now the Ultra and Pro both get Snapdragon, even in Europe and South Korea, per the latest leak from yeux1122 via Naver and SamMobile.
That directly contradicts a Seoul Economic Daily report claiming Samsung was preparing to drop Snapdragon for Exynos 2700 in those same markets. Qualcomm CMO Don McGuire called that claim '100% NOT accurate' on X. The S27 Ultra’s 5700mAh battery marks a 14% jump over the S26 Ultra’s 5000mAh. The S27 Pro gets 5200mAh.
